WEehad the painters here today. They sanded the window sills, did lots of caulking and a little more priming. He also took off the old drop cloths and old plastic sheeting and put down new.They plan in being back tomorrow and probably will here all weekend. The granite contractor was also here checking measurements. He has the dimensions already for the sink, stove top in the kitchen and the sink in the laundry room. So he is good there. We are putting in a vessel sink in the half bath-it sits on top on the granite top.Going with the waterfall edge on the magma gold granite and the minsk granite. Kitchen island, butlers pantry and 1/2 bath. The solid black granite will have the straight edge .
Not sure when people will start arriving in the morning. We are supposed to have more icy
conditions on the roadways around rush hour. They will get here when they can. Our cabinet doors and drawers are also supposed to be delivered and installed. Granite Monday or Tuesday, back splash etc after that. I think our appliances from factory builder are there. Plumbing and lighting fixtures should be in sometime late next week.Of course with the bad weather every where there could be a few delays. Not sure where everything is being shipped from. It's all moving right along.
