REMODEL WEEK 5-WEDNESDAY

Today started with the tile guys arriving a little before 9. I stayed a round a little to hear what was going to be happening, then left to get my hair cut and some groceries. Today was prep work. Unfortunately for the guys the job is second floor. They put down a thin hardie board over the sub floor in the 2 bathrooms. That was the noisy part.

After they got all that done they set up their equipment outside to cut the travertine tile into the correct sizes

Peter did all the cutting outside. His helper got to carry all the cut pieces up the steps. I think his helper had the rough part of the job today. He made lots of trips up and down!

                         At the end of the day there were several stacks of different cut pieces outside of                                                                             each bathroom

More big pieces of travertine and all the grout. Ready for Thursday.

They will arrive between 8 and 8:30 to start. About 9 someone will be coming to measure the railings for upstairs and show us our options. Another busy day.
