Almost Summer

Been awhile since I last wrote. It has been a very busy few weeks. A little yard work and lots of sewing. Galen and our friend Nancy were able to take off for a few days. They headed to Lubbock in west Texas. A dragonfly had been seen there. A Tezpi Dancer. It was a good trip as they were able to get quite a few pictures and a brand new one for both of them,

I stayed busy by making more dog bandanas. Have started making some that slip over the head ones as well

I made quite a few over the collar ones as well. Now am working on some more Patriotic ones for July 4th.

Our Agave plant has really been something to watch. The blooming stalk is very tall and is in the tree. Our Spring rains have been very good for it.

We have also been picking cherry tomatoes as well as a few peppers.

Besides dog bandanas I have been working on quilts. I have a queen size log cabin almost finished. The center is done and now waiting for borders.

A lot more going on but this is enough for now.  Our weather has been decent.  We have been getting rain, just enough.  Not the bad weather they have had all around us. We can’t take the.low water bridge.  Heavy rains in the water shed,but the lakes are in better shape than they have been in a while.
